BERRYALLOC MARKED ITS INTENTIONS AT THE

FLOORING SHOW Showcasing its impressive roster of LVT, laminate, HPF and wood floors, BerryAlloc had a hugely successful three days at The Flooring Show.

With the award-winning Ocean+ water-resistant laminate, the super-wide and extra-long planks of Grand Majestic, DreamClick equipped Pure and Style LVT, and the Les Essentiels and Les Exclusifs parquet collections; BerryAlloc’s stand at this year’s show was one not to be missed.

Showing innovations designed to make flooring easier to install, easier to maintain, longer lasting and more beautiful, along with clever displays and point-of-sale, BerryAlloc demonstrated to visiting retailers that it is a brand with big intentions in the UK market.

Group, the Wool Trends Centre played host to top brands including Adam Carpets, Axminster Carpets, Brockway Carpets, Cavalier Carpets, Penthouse Carpets, Ulster Carpets, and Westex Flooring.

The Floor Art feature saw master fitters produce two pieces of art, one created from carpet and the other from LVT. Visitors were able to talk with the fitters while they created their masterpieces to learn how to create unique and bespoke designs using the latest techniques products and products.

The FITA Demo Zone and NICF Fitter of the Year (FOTY) competition were once again an integral part of the show. Over the three days, there were demonstrations on smoothing compounds, floating floor installation, luxury vinyl tile (LVT) installation and much more. There was a slight difference with this year’s FOTY competition; instead of carpet, the finalists were tasked with fitting LVT. As an added extra, the finalists were asked to create a showstopper using only black and white LVT tiles and follow the theme London. Matt Bowles, based in East Anglia, was crowned LVT Fitter of The Year, with Mathew Parkinson, from Bolton, picking up the award for the best showstopper with his representation of Big Ben.

Event Director Alex Butler commented: “It felt great to be back and see Harrogate brimming with activity once again. The halls came alive as exhibitors and visitors reunited with much-missed colleagues, friends, and clients. There was a real sense of excitement around the venue as visitors got to see new product launches, and business being carried face to face.”

The Flooring Show will be back at the Harrogate Convention Centre again on 18-20 September 2022, with big plans being made to celebrate this historic 60th birthday edition.

Scott Arundell, sales director UK, said: “After its extended break and with most of us spending a huge amount of time within the same few walls over the last 18 or so months, The Flooring Show was one of the first opportunities for us to demonstrate our impressive and innovative product portfolio to a large audience. It was great to welcome so many people onto our stand.

“We’ve big plans for developing our presence in the UK and making BerryAlloc the ‘go-to’ flooring brand for homeowners looking for quality products that are fairly priced – improving our retailer network is where this starts.

“The Flooring Show provided a chance to talk people through collections and how our displays and merchandising are geared up to maximise return. It’s an exciting time for the brand and we’re looking forward to seeing BerryAlloc floors in more stores right across the country.”
