BAL LEVEL MAX With innovative Fibre Strand Technology (FST), bed depths up to 80mm in a single application and suitable for use over most bases including timber (at minimum 3mm), BAL Level Max is a true all-rounder.
BAL Level max is perfect prior to the installation of tiles or floorcoverings even on key installations such as underfloor heating.
Use from 2mm to 80mm – one of the largest bed depths on the market – BAL Level Max easily levels backgrounds with varying heights.
With an outstanding flow rate and 30 minutes working time, it is easy to use, while accepting foot traffic in three hours and can be tiled in four hours – whatever the bed depth.
BAL Level Max is competitively priced and reduces overall project costs and duration significantly with easier and faster installation.
Perfect for commercial or domestic installations, BAL Level Max is also pumpable for large floors, while the use of 3-6mm aggregate can further reduce installation costs.
BAL LEVEL FAST A recent launch to the market, BAL Level Fast lets you get on with tiling sooner with floors ready to walk on after only 30 minutes and ready to tile after only 45 minutes.
Fast and agile over rough terrain, it is suitable over underfloor heating and timber floors from just a 3mm bed depth. BAL Level Fast is engineered to ensure a longer wet edge (10 minutes) and anti-shrinkage technology to provide the perfect substrate for tiling small domestic projects.
Formulated with Fibre Strand Technology (FST) for improved flexibility and resilience, BAL Level Fast can be used from 2-30mm bed depths.
A 10-to-15-minute pot life ensures enough time to mix and use, while self-smoothing and self-healing technology ensures a perfect, flat surface with no cracks or bowing beneath the tiles.
What’s more, a smooth ‘one pour’ formulation with excellent flow makes for ease and speed of installation – while no need to spike roll also saves valuable time.
BAL LEVEL OUT BAL’s latest levelling innovation, BAL Level Out provides smooth and easy levelling of external concrete prior to tiling.

Walkable in just two to three hours, BAL Level Out is perfect for preparing rough or impact damaged paths, patio or ground terrace bases.
Simply mixed with water, BAL Level Out can be applied from 2mm to 20mm thick in a single application, and with smooth flow and excellent coverage of 3m² at 5mm thick it makes external tiling easy.
What’s more, water content can be reduced for gradient levelling (i.e. creating falls etc).
With a pot life of 30 minutes, there is plenty of time for multiple mixes and multiple pours over large areas.
BAL Level Out is part of BAL’s new external tiling range which also includes products for fixing direct onto Type 1 MOT including new BAL Slurry Priming Bond, BAL Bedding Mortar and BAL Terrace Grout.
BAL ACRYBASE BAL Acrybase is a two-part leveller than can be used in internal and external situations.
Perfect for laying on absorbent and non-absorbent surfaces, BAL Acrybase is recommended for heavily-trafficked areas and exterior floors it can be laid at bed depths from a feather edge up to 10mm and from 10mm to 20mm with the addition of 3-6mm granite chippings.
Fast-hardening, it can be tiled after only four hours.
