With the emphasis on combining modern comfort with elegant design, EGGER’s NatureSense Aqua+ was the flooring of choice for Halo Developments on its latest Weymouth development.
Moonfleet Compass is the latest residential development by Halo Developments, located just a few minutes away from the soft sands of Weymouth beach. Offering 31 one and two-bedroom apartments, the core aesthetic was centred around seamlessly blending the town’s rich history with modern elegance. Offering contemporary everyday living, the spacious apartment interiors feature quality kitchens and boutique bathrooms, as well as thoughtfully integrated technology such as app-controlled heating.
With the emphasis on high-quality finishes and a contemporary style, Halo Developments turned to EGGER UK for the laminate flooring, installed throughout all 31 apartments.

On this project, working closely with the kitchen supplier, it was very important that our chosen flooring complemented the worktops specified. EGGER’s Turin Oak colourway was the perfect match, with a natural, warm and authentic wood aesthetic.”
EGGER’s NatureSense Aqua+ is a modern laminate that speaks to the senses. Manufactured from 80% renewable raw materials, it creates an authentic wood feel thanks to the synchronised pore texture and special embossing techniques. With a hardwearing surface, special swell protection formula and Aqua CLIC it! click system, it is also water-resistant for up to 72 hours, as well as providing strong protection against stains, scratches and scuffs.
Konrad continued: “For us, it was very important that the chosen laminate flooring offered a good level of water resistance, given its application across the kitchens and bathrooms – areas where water and spillages are likely. Here, NatureSense Aqua+ provided assurances of a high-quality and long-lasting finish, as well as being hassle-free to install. To help create a harmonious look and offer ease of maintenance for homeowners, the oak-effect laminate flooring was then continued throughout the apartments, including in living areas and bedrooms.”
The Moonfleet Compass development was completed in 2026, with the apartments currently on the market. Halo Developments already plans to use EGGER flooring on its next project in Ringwood, Hampshire, a conversion of The Corn Exchange, which was formerly the Regal Cinema, into 12 luxury apartments.
