Reflecting current demand for tile designs in the LVT market, the Rigid Comfort range was extended at the start of the year with the addition of four on-trend tile effects spanning cool stone and concrete, fashionable terrazzo and classic marble. The designs offer a stylish, durable, easy-to-install and low-maintenance alternative to real stone and ceramic tiles and complement the existing tile designs within Rigid Comfort to offer a total of nine tile-effect decors.
The Rigid Comfort collection also features 11 elegant plank decors across two versatile size options of 1500mm x 220mm and 1220mm x 176mm. The wide planks are ideal for use in large, open-plan rooms, while the narrow planks cleverly create a sense of space in smaller areas.
Ideal for both domestic and commercial applications, all 20 Rigid Comfort decors feature the advanced Välinge 5G installation system. The system’s push-down end joints allow for a secure fit with just a firm finger touch, eliminating the need for hammers or tapping tools. The convenient installation process requires minimal space for positioning end joints, making it perfect for tight or restricted spaces, such as around sanitaryware or underneath bathroom doors.
The flooring is also ideal for kitchen refurbs as it can be fitted around cabinetry, saving time and effort and the need to co-ordinate around other trades. Another advantage is that it can be installed over various existing subfloors, including concrete, plywood and even existing tiles, while the 1mm built-in underlay also offers time and cost-saving benefits as well as excellent sound absorbency.
