Shield Guard Hand Sanitiser by Healthguard Hygiene
Healthguard Hygiene introduced the first Shield Guard Hand Sanitiser product in May, as an evolution from the initial WHO hand sanitisers we produced in March and April, and since then the product has evolved in a couple of areas. The Shield Guard brand went from concept to finished product in less than a fortnight and then sold over 3m bottles in its first two months.
The product was one of the first hand sanitiser products to achieve BS EN14476: A2 2019, as well as EN14476:2013, EN1500 and EN1276.
From inception, it was ensured that the ethanol used had impeccable providence, using only ethanol produced by their supply partners at Loch Lomond Distillery, where it’s guaranteed that the quality will be perfect and that the alcohol is from purely renewable sources. Being consistent, Healthguard Hygiene has ensured that the moisturisers used are also from a renewable, plant-based source and are suitable for vegans and vegetarians.
There are several recently launched fragranced versions of the Shield Guard range, capturing four popular fragrances that are suited to different environments and personalities, as well as an alcohol-free variant.
As a committed team who have a combined 75 years’ experience within the chemical hygiene sector, Healthguard Hygiene are proud to have provided millions of bottles of this valuable protection product that has protected millions of people in this difficult time. This includes hotels, restaurants, retail, gyms, healthcare, care homes and any sector where hygiene is of paramount importance.
