Heavy-Duty Hand Cleaners for Tough Soils byGOJO Industries-Europe
Although GOJO is best known for skin health and sanitising, its heritage actually lies in tackling the tough soils associated with the manufacturing industry. In fact, the very first product GOJO developed was a heavy-duty hand cleaner back in 1946.
For workers in heavy industries, sanitising gel or regular soap and water is not enough to effectively clean hands. As well as looking and feeling unpleasant, dirty hands bring the risk of spreading soils, stains, and viruses to other surfaces. Hand hygiene is particularly important then, since it can be difficult to implement other infection prevention measures in these settings. For example, the nature of operating machinery means social distancing may not be possible.
GOJO’s range of specialist heavy-duty hand cleaners are designed especially for use in a range of trade environments, such as construction sites, garages, workshops, and factories. Powerful against tough dirt and grime, they are also gentle to skin. Dermatologically tested, the formulations largely incorporate natural ingredients, including plant-based scrubbers.
GOJO Natural Hand Cleaner uses apricot stone and corn seed scrubbers with mild surfactants to effectively clean medium- duty soils, such as dirt, grease, oil, carbon black, oil-based paint and tar. GOJO Olive Hand Cleaner is effective against heavy-duty soils, such as caulk, graphite, adhesive, paint, sealant, and tar, thanks to its olive-stone scrubber action.
The range is perfectly complemented by GOJO SuproMax Hand Cleaner, which has a walnut-scrubber formulation to remove sticky soils and adhesive.
All three tough soil formulations are compatible with GOJO PRO TDX Dispensing System, which offers portion- controlled dispensing to help minimise waste. Its one hand push operation is easy to use, the cartridges are simple to load, and each refill has a fresh valve to ensure there is no contamination, leaks or clogs.
