Bioforce is an innovative range of chemical-free cleaning products from Lyreco that provides a more environmentally friendly option for the ‘away from home’ cleaning market.
This sector had traditionally relied on chemical-based cleaners until Lyreco joined forces with InnuScience, a global leader in the production of biological cleaning products, with the aim of offering a better, more effective, more sustainable and safer way of cleaning.
Bioforce harnesses the power of nature by using biotechnology to safely remove dirt, grease and grime from all surfaces. Products have been specially developed using microbes, which are nature’s cleaners, and give better and smear-free cleaning results.
The versatile range includes a multi-surface cleaner for surfaces from glass, mirrors, and stainless steel to floors and walls; a descaler; and a floor cleaning degreaser that can tackle everything from mineral oils to petrol and oil-based dirt.
The Bioforce fabric and carpet cleaner has residual odour control action; there is a food safe kitchen cleaner; and a general kitchen cleaner degreaser that utilises the full power of biotechnology to quickly remove fat, oil and grease build up on floors, leaving a biofilm that continues to clean and make floors far less slippery.
The multipurpose acid Sani cleaner and limescale remover gives amazing results in showers and around taps, without damaging chrome finishes.

BURNISHER 430 The Preparation Group
The Preparation Group launched the new Burnisher 430 earlier this year, with its sole purpose to produce a high gloss, glass-like finish on vinyl, tiles, concrete and resin systems. The high-speed operation (1,500rpm) glazes as it glides across the surface, producing a long- lasting shine.
A drive plate is fixed to the machine which can just be lowered onto a cleaning or scrubbing pad and used with or without chemicals or water. Cost saving and environmentally friendly cleaning is achieved by using the Burnisher 430 with just The Preparation Group’s double- sided Storm Diamond Pads and water.
The Burnisher 430 features a 1.6kw motor, is easy to use with simple controls, and has an adjustable handle height for operator comfort. An onboard dust collection port ensures clean results when used dry and the fold-down handle is ideal for transportation and storage. The machine emits a low noise level so does not disturb normal daily operations.
An example project of the Burnisher 430 in use would be when The Preparation Group’s contracting division PPC were contracted to refurbish several hundred metres of heavily trafficked, dirty and scratched vinyl at offices in Bristol. The machine was fitted with an 800 grade Storm Diamond Pad to remove the ingrained dirt. This was then followed by the finer 1500 grade resulting in a hygienic, shiny, yet non-slip floor, just by using water. The finished result would repel dirt and be easier to clean and maintain.
