Tomorrow’s Cleaning Awards 2022 Nominations for the Tomorrow’s Cleaning Awards 2022 are now open, and we’re inviting you to tell us what you think have been the best products, innovations and services in the sector over the past 12 months.
For more than a decade, the Tomorrow’s Cleaning Awards have been a celebration of the finest industry innovations and the best solutions that the cleaning and hygiene sector has to offer.
In last year’s Awards, Rubbermaid’s excellent Love Recycling research project took the top spot, with Kimberly- Clark Professional’s WypAll Reach Centrefeed System a close second, and ICE’s Co-Botics range took home the bronze. The entire Top 10 was an eclectic mix from across the industry, and this year we again want to showcase what our amazing industry has to offer.
Martin Wharmby, Editor of Tomorrow’s Cleaning and Tomorrow’s Cleaning Ireland, said: “The cleaning and hygiene industry has been under the spotlight for the last 18 months thanks to the heroic efforts of our key workers: the cleaning operatives, manufacturers and distributors who all helped keep people safe throughout the pandemic.
“The Tomorrow’s Cleaning Awards 2022 offer up the opportunity to celebrate the excellent work of our industry, whether it’s a time-tested service or a new product that’s been impressive over the last 12 months. As the winners are chosen by our readers, this is a truly open competition where anyone and everyone has the opportunity to shine.”

From all of the nominations, the finalists will be selected and included in a comprehensive digital awards guide book, which will be launched at the end of 2021 to allow readers to choose a winner.
Public voting will open in early January 2022 and will close on Tuesday 15 March 2022, with the winners announced the following day.

IGF funding for Westgrove Group
FM company Westgrove Group has secured £6m of funding from Independent Growth Finance (IGF), to provide working capital and support the growth of the business.
The funding will enable the business to hone its offering, grow and strengthen its customer base, and target more sectors including hospitality. A recruitment drive is also under way to aid the business’s growth.
The company aims to exceed revenues of £30m by the end of the year. It has over 70 sites across the UK including Touchwood Shopping Centre, Solihull, and a long-standing relationship with Market Place Shopping Centre, Bolton.
