Voting for the Tomorrow’s Cleaning Awards 2018 cam reveal to you who came a

In the final week of 2017, we were proud to publically unveil the shortlist for the 2018 Tomorrow’s Cleaning Awards – a collection of the best products and services from across the industry that had graced our pages over the previous 12 months. Covering as broad a spectrum as possible, with everything from the latest software solutions to chemical dispensers and robots, we like to believe that our annual awards act as a showcase for the cream of the crop that this industry has to offer, but in the end it was down to you, dear readers, to pick your winners.

Over the past three months, we’ve been keeping an eye on the voting numbers, seeing the top spots chop and change over the course of the voting period, and trying to predict who would eventually come out on top. It was very close right through to the end, with only a handful of votes separating the top few spaces. However, now that voting has closed and the thousands of votes that we’ve had have been counted and verified, we’re delighted to announce our winners.

BEST OF THE REST While we’ve paid special attention to our wonderful Top three, it would be remiss of us if we didn’t give an honourable mention to the other fantastic products that were shortlisted this year. Here is the Class of 2018 Top 10:

1. SC6000 Ride-on scrubber dryer – Nilfisk 2. Tork PeakServe – Essity 3. Katrin Inclusive Dispensers – Metsa Tissue 4. Oxygen Pro – Oxy-gen Powered 5. Chlorine Free Mould Killer – Mellerud 6. DebMed – Deb 7. Kleenex Ultra Rolled Hand Towel Systems & Scott Control – Kimberly-Clark Professional

8. Jangronauts – Jangro 9. Bioclean – Cleanology 10. 100% Post-Consumer Recycled Plastic Packaging – Delphis Eco

SC6000 Ride-on scrubber dryer from Nilfisk

Taking the top spot for 2018 is Nilfisk, with their next generation, battery operated SC6000 Ride-on scrubber dryer. Designed for use in large indoor areas, one of the keys to development was low cost of ownership, while the variety of features and functionality helped win over voters.

Commenting on the win, John Brill, Sales Director for Nilfisk UK, said: “The Nilfisk Group are delighted with this award acknowledging our ongoing commitment to bring innovative cleaning solutions to the marketplace.

“Total cost of ownership was absolutely key to the development of SC6000 and the result is a next generation product, delivering superior high speed scrubbing and drying with ultra-low levels of water, detergent and power. The Nilfisk team will continue to meet the future needs of our customers by integrating leading technologies in the development of our products and solutions.”
