TURNS ORANGE Orange-Maximum is the latest product to join Greyland’s new Premier Range of cleaning concentrates, suitable for a wide range of janitorial and industrial applications.


Effective on PVC, strong enough to remove grease and oil from machinery, heavy deposits from cooker hoods and ducting, but when diluted, is mild enough to also use on fabrics.


Dilute Orange-Maximum up to 1:200 to clean carpets and upholstery, as well as hard surfaces such as floors, walls and countertops. For best results, use with a micro-fibre cloth.


US GETS NEW COMMERCIAL CLEANING TRADE


SHOW The Trade Press Media Group and the ISSA have announced a new trade show for the commercial cleaning industry in the US – Clean Buildings Expo (CBE).


The joint venture will make its debut at the Convention Center in Baltimore, MD, 26 – 27 March 2019, co-located with the annual National Facilities Management & Technology (NFMT) Show Baltimore.


Designed for end-users of cleaning products and equipment, CBE fills the need for education and product information in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic states. 1,200 key decision makers from healthcare, education, government, hospitality facilities and building service contractors are anticipated by show organisers over both days.

CBE will host more than 25 informative and educational sessions addressing operational best practices, staffing and management strategies, and cleaning technologies.

IN PARLIAMENT Stephen Kerr MP has agreed to act as an unpaid Parliamentary Adviser to the Cleaning & Hygiene Suppliers Association (CHSA), to give the Association’s members a voice in parliament.


Kerr has been the MP for Stirling since 2017. He was previously EMEA Sales Operations Leader at Kimberly-Clark, having joined the company in 1986, and understands the challenges and complexities of the industry. He will ask questions on behalf of the CHSA on topics including REACH and Brexit.


Stephen Harrison, Chairman of the CHSA, said: “We are delighted Stephen has agreed to represent our interests. A key strategic focus for us is to advocate on behalf of our members in the corridors of power. Our new relationship with Stephen gives us the perfect platform for doing exactly that.”


Stephen Kerr MP will be hosting an event on behalf of the CHSA at the House of Commons on Tuesday 26 June, open to all CHSA members on a first-come first-served basis. The CHSA’s short AGM will take place immediately beforehand.
