Stephen Harrison, Chairman of the CHSA, said: “Our focus is on driving up and maintaining standards in the industry. We’re delighted, therefore, to join the BCC at the Manchester Cleaning Show. It is the perfect opportunity to spread the word about our respected Accreditation Schemes for Distributors, Soft Tissue, Plastic Refuse Sacks and Industrial Cotton Mops to those who use cleaning and hygiene products as well as those who sell them.”

His session is entitled ‘The facilities sector in post-Brexit Britain’ and will focus on what cleaning and FM companies are doing to prepare for Brexit, and what contingency plans are being put in place, both from a contractor and end-user perspective.
Dominic said: “Whether we like it or not, Brexit is one of Europe's defining geopolitical events of the decade, if not the century. It will affect all of us, directly and indirectly, and whilst the wrangling between the EU and UK continues for the next year, it is important we take steps now to prepare for the day when Brexit finally arrives.
“The cleaning and facilities sector will be one of the most heavily affected by Brexit, and it seems most of us have either 'switched off' when it comes to Brexit, or done little or nothing to prepare.”
