NEW RUBBERMAID X-CARTS STREAMLINE
HOUSEKEEPING To answer hospitality, healthcare and FM operators’ needs for a large capacity, highly durable and easy-to- store cart, Rubbermaid Commercial Products (RCP) has recently launched the all-new, collapsible Rubbermaid X-Cart.
Designed, engineered and tested to deliver reliable long-lasting performance, the Rubbermaid X-Cart comprises a tear-resistant, black vinyl bag hung on a sturdy powder-coated metal frame. The bags and frames are sold separately by Rubbermaid.

AUTOMATION Bespoke Vynagrip anti-slip matting modules are being used to protect workers at the Sugitani Metal Industry Company, a sub- contractor of a major Japanese car manufacturer that specialises in the production of automotive components, in Japan. The matting modules, supplied complete with bevelled edges, have been installed in the cutting operations area.
Manufactured in the UK by Plastic Extruders Ltd and supplied by Japanese distributor, AM Products Inc, Vynagrip provides a safe and effective solution for this dangerous location. The combination of metal shavings, cutting oil and water used for cleansing pose serious underfoot hazards for the workers and the matting addresses these problems in one tidy answer.

The new Rubbermaid X-cart is available in 150L or 300L capacity models. To further enhance employee productivity, two 150L bags can be fitted on the 300L frame to allow content separation and coloured ribbons help classify transport material to prevent cross- contamination. Productivity can be further improved thanks to the optional pocket organizer keeping cleaning tools and supplies within easy reach. Whether using the 150L, 300L or dual stream model, the load capacity of the Rubbermaid X-Cart is 100kgs.
When not in use, the X-Cart can be manually collapsed in seconds so that it occupies minimal storage space. The incorporation of bumper guards in the X-Cart’s design further helps to protect the frame from damage during storage or use.
