Cleaning Professional Skills Suite Lyn Crowther was a key member of the team that wrote the new set of BICSc CPSS skills. Following the successful launch of the BICSc CPSS skills suite, Lyn was delighted to receive an honorary fellowship of the British Institute of Cleaning Science, for her contribution to this new training programme.
CPSS is the newly improved assessment scheme for accredited training in the cleaning industry. The CPSS has been introduced to meet with current and future industry needs. It allows candidates to learn only what is directly relevant to them and the environment within which they clean.

Now training within the industry should be taken to the next level by providing a training course that will support and professionalize supervision and management, we were approached by the CSSA to produce the New Management Training Course. The Cleaning Managers Training Course
Do you want to make more profit on each contract? Do you worry that your margins are too low? Do you want your contracts to be better managed?
The Cleaning and Support Services Association (CSSA) together with Cleanwise and Drury PSM have got together to create an innovative new training course for managers in the cleaning industry to help you to build a more profitable business.
The course, which takes place over 8 days within a two month period, is divided into four modules that cover the key issues in cleaning management. They are: • What makes a good manager? • Health and safety, time management and budget control
• People management • Quality control, environmental issues and presentations
Candidates can take each module individually and/or all four. Certificates are issued on the successful completion of each module and a diploma in cleaning management once all modules have been successfully completed.
