Hospital Hygiene Sponsor Polti Professional
Polti S.p.A. is the leading producer of steam appliances in Europe. Our vast experience in the world of steam cleaning is the result of over 30 years of design, development and innovation
Healthcare through technological advancement is key to the Polti mission. We have long been investing in technology and people in order to achieve advanced hygiene products which can be used to decrease the risk of infection and contamination across all healthcare and professional sectors.
Steam is an ideal resource for cleaning and sanitising. It acts as a natural surface-active agent, dissolving grease particles and reaching even the most inaccessible areas. Heat and force allow steam to detach and dissolve dirt, freeing and capturing all dust particles within its passage, thus delivering an extraordinarily fast, safe and hygienic cleaning system.
Polti Mondial Vap The Polti Mondial Vap appliance range produces steam at high temperatures (150°C) and under a very high pressure. Extremely versatile, they can be used for a number of cleaning purposes with multi-functional operating settings; steam only, vacuum only, steam and vacuum together, with or without detergents and at a hot or cold wash. With all these functions in one, the Polti Mondial Vap is cost effective and efficient at cleaning a multitude of flooring,
furnishing and surfaces; ideal for hotels, restaurants and offices.
Polti Sani System Two years ago Polti began a project to further the use of steam as a cleaning agent by developing a product that could aid in the prevention of infections through viruses,
spores, fungi and bacteria on surfaces and floors. The Worldwide patented Polti Sani System was developed; the
integrated solution for professional hygiene and steam sanitisation.
The Polti Sani System is a class 2A medical device for sanitising surfaces with a high risk of biological
contamination. The System is based on the synergy action between dry overheated steam at very high temperatures (180°C) and the HPMed sanitising agent which acts as an adjuvant to the sanitising action of steam. The system is not only integrated and easy to use, but more importantly
reduces the bacterial, fungal and viral loads in seconds. The mixture of steam and HPMed can be used in the presence of
people, which makes it excellent for areas of high public movement.

The ECA water scheme is managed by the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra) and HM Revenue and Customs, in partnership with AEA Technology, who manage the scheme on behalf of Defra. The ECA water scheme includes a variety of technologies one of them being the Polti Steam Cleaning Range.
