Using PAR as a general framework might help educators co-develop more deeply- grounded, engaging and meaningful music- learning and music-making experiences with learners and community members. Doing so may help educators to center their work even more directly in genuine dia- logue with learners as they engage with cur- ricular content, address issues of personal and societal meaning and collaboratively build the kind of classroom, community and world in which we can all thrive.
