Gas Detection 9 Discover a gas sensor solution designed around your specifi c needs!
Sensorix is a German manufacturer of toxic gas sensors based in Bonn. The company specialises in the development and production of high- performance electrochemical gas sensors for use in industrial safety applications. Unlike other sensors, electrochemical sensors work by reacting chemically with the target gas in the environment through a special fi lter and producing an electrical signal proportional to the gas concentration.
The Sensorix product range consists of two main product lines - standard gas sensors for fi xed or portable gas detectors and Satellix gas sensors as replacement sensors for Satellite XT transmitters. With 36 target gases in its product portfolio, Sensorix is one of the world’s leading suppliers of electrochemical gas sensors.
We also collaborate with customers who require a special sensor that is not available on the market. There is a wide variety of criteria that we can cater to: For example, some of our customers need sensors that are suitable for specifi c environments or their own applications, while others require a special mechanical form factor for their instruments.
Our fl exible, professional and experienced team can design and develop sensors made solely to perform your specifi c gas detection tasks. More information online:

Do you need to detect low concentrations of silane? The Sensorix SiH4 2 provides a reliable solution
What if your gas detection system needs to detect low concentrations of silane gas (SiH4) from 0 to 2 parts per million (ppm) and the sensor you order from Sensorix is rated for 0-50 ppm?
If your gas detector needs to detect low concentrations, it is important to ensure that it is fi tted with a high-precision sensor. In most cases, the standard Sensorix SiH4 50 sensor is suffi cient for silane gas detection. However, in some countries and industries, safety standards require sensors to detect even the lowest silane concentrations, from 0 to 2 parts per million (ppm). To meet these requirements, the Sensorix SiH4 2 sensor type has been specifi cally developed to detect low levels of SiH4 accurately and reliably.
It is a 3-electrode sensor designed for use in industrial safety applications as well as in the semiconductor industry. Compared to the Sensorix SiH4 50, the Sensorix SiH4 2 has a lower measuring range and higher sensitivity:
· Measuring range: 0 - 2 ppm · Sensitivity: 800 ± 400 nA/ppm
· Response time (T90): ≤ 60 s at 2 min gas exposure
Sensorix is a trusted manufacturer and supplier of custom gas sensors. Their team of experts understands the complexities of customer-specifi c sensor design and they adapt their sensors to specifi c environments and applications.
