MOCON, Inc. – Baseline’s line of piD-TECH®

eVx sensors deliver

performance photoionisation detector (PID) detection for OEM markets. As one of the most widely used gas detection techniques, the PID, in general, is commonly applied in both portable and fi xed instruments for detection of a wide variety of organic compounds in ambient air.

MOCON’s plug-in piD-TECH eVx’s capabilities include: minimum detection limits down to 0.5 ppb, greater stability over temperature changes, minimal humidity response, integral shielding, reduced dead volume, reduced and improved response time, and an internally regulated supply voltage able to accept input voltages from 3.2 V to 5.5 V.

The piD-TECH eVx plug-in sensor provides complete photoionisation detection capabilities and is designed to be mechanically interchangeable with major brands of electrochemical sensors. Therefore, it can be installed in portable and stationary gas monitor that accepts City Technology 4P cells.

The MOCON piD-TECH eVx detection capabilities and minimum detection quantity (MDQ) come in eight ranges depending upon lamp energy and application requirements. Some common applications for the piD-TECH eVx sensor include indoor air quality, industrial hygiene and safety monitoring, confi ned space entry, soil contamination and remediation, hazmat sites and spills, EPA Method 21, and low-concentration leak detection.

MOCON will be at SENSOR+TEST 2017, in Hall 1, Stand 220.

Gas Smart Sensor Exchange Programme Analytical

Technology has introduced its new

Gas Sensor Exchange Programme,

following a successful trial with Thames Water.

The Gas Sensor Exchange Programme is designed to provide customers with a seamless sensor replacement, allowing for peace of mind that the smart sensors are continually working to the highest standard. Over a 3-year period, if the sensor requires replacement it will be covered by the cost of the contract. Then two weeks before the due calibration, ATi sends a rotational sensor in the post. Each sensor comes ready to use and with a batch calibration certifi cate - customers then simply swap the sensor over and post the old one back.

Benefi ts

• Ensures your sensor is always within calibration and working to the highest standard.

• The price of the Exchange system is fi xed for the duration of term (3 years)

• ATi takes care of all administration and shipping within mainland UK. This means all you have to do is send the sensor back to us in the provided sensor keeper, after we’ve sent you the replacement in the fi rst place.

• Your gas monitor is constantly safe to use, meaning you never have an uncalibrated sensor.

With ATi’s AutoTest pioneering feature and Gas Sensor Exchange Programme, customers can now rest easy knowing their gas detection is working 24/7.
