Opsis AB is a Swedish company that develops, manufactures and markets systems for ambient air quality monitoring, continuous emissions monitoring and process control. We offer a total monitoring solution including software for a wide range of applications. The German TUV, MCERTS and the U.S. E.P.A. among others have tested and approved the Opsis monitoring systems.
At Opsis we concentrate on optical measurements because the technique is flexible and provides rapid measurements that allow the quantification of several gases simultaneously with great reliability. Our product uses the DOAS (Differential Optical Absorption Spectroscopy) technique. Besides the DOAS system, Opsis offers a laser diode gas analyser that is designed for monitoring a range of gases with very fast response time and low detection limits. Also, Opsis offers a wide range of additional equipment such as compact analysers, oxygen monitors and particulate monitors.
Furthermore Opsis manufactures a data logger system that is designed for data acquisition applications. The data logger can handle analogue and digital input and output signals as well as serial communication.
Besides hardware, Opsis offers a wide range of flexible state-of-the-art software packages for data management. The software is an effective tool for data collection, data representation, reports, emission databases, GIS system, forecasting and planning.
From the very beginning, Opsis has realised the importance of continuous product development and comprehensive after- sales service to the system operators. Through a network of subsidiary companies, distributors and other representatives, Opsis is present on all continents. More than a thousand of systems are in operation around the world.
Opsis is ISO9001:2000, ISO 14001 and ISO/IEC 17025 certified.

PPM have recently launched an integrated IAQ Monitoring Station, which can measure up to 8 IAQ parameters, including Formaldehyde, Temperature, and Humidity as well as a combination of 5 other IAQ parameter such as CO, CO2
, NO2 , O3 , and VOC’s.
The IAQ system has been designed to give a visual representation of IAQ in buildings where workers and public spend a significant amount of time. Developed as a tool for the building management standards to combat conditions such as ‘Sick Building Syndrome’ and ‘Sick School Syndrome’. Using the support software it is possible to schedule monitoring times, display graphs, generate reports from the stored data and set alarm levels connected to and triggering 3rd party systems, such as air conditioning units. Multiple units can be networked and operated together as one system, to ensure safe exposure levels in any indoor environment.
