Analytical Instrumentation CFC-free Oil-In-Water Testing with ERACHECK – safe, simple, ecological and cost-effi cient
For more than 10 years now, eralytics is a trusted provider of the easy to use oil-in-water testers ERACHECK ECO and ERACHECK PRO. eralytics industry leading oil-in-water and oil-in-soil testers are the only high-precision IR-analysers on the market using CFC-free solvents for the measurement of Total Petroleum Hydrocarbons (TPH) and Total Oil and Grease (TOG) in water and soil.
This CFC-free solvent does not harm the ozone layer and offers an distinct economically advantage: the solvent used for the extraction – Cyclohexane - is available at very low costs. With its portable and rugged stand-alone design the measurement is very easy to carry out, no special skills are required and the results are very quickly available.
ERACHECK’s results correlate perfectly to other measurement techniques such as gravimetry (EPA 1664), gas chromatography (ISO 9377-2) or other infrared methods (ASTM D7066 and ASTM D7678). ERACHECK’s fi elds of application are diverse: • monitoring of discharge, reinjection and waste water • upstream oil recovery monitoring • environmental monitoring of soil • layer monitoring during oil drilling.
ERACHECK is available in two versions, ERACHECK ECO and ERACHECK PRO. ERACHECK PRO is fully compliant with ASTM D7678 and offers an unprecedented limit of detection. ERACHECK ECO is based on the same measurement principle and offers an unbeatable value for money. Both models are also available with a directly attached optional 10-position autosampler. ERACHECK PRO is your instrument of choice for specialised high- end applications, whereas ERACHECK ECO is a reliable partner for oil-in-water testing.
With eralytics’ ERACHECK the petroleum industry’s need for an environmental-friendly, portable, reliable, easy to use and highly precise oil-in-water analyser is fulfi lled.

easy Multi-Fuel-Analysis in seconds It’s all about pushing a button: ERASPEC is the leading fully automated mid FTIR Spectrometer for multi-fuel analysis.
The ERASPEC Multi-Fuel-Analyser easily analyse your fuel of choice with only one analyser. No matter if it’s gasoline, diesel fuel, jet fuel or biodiesel/FAME – measurements are done within 60 seconds. As a portable stand-alone instrument, it can be used in the lab, in mobile laboratories and in the fi eld.

The portable multi-fuel analyser ERASPEC measures a mid-infrared spectrum and delivers highly accurate results for the most important fuel parameters. Only by pushing a button ERASPEC delivers over 100 fuel parameters such as benzene, oxygenates or even complex properties like RON and MON within a few seconds. ERASPEC analyses also Biodiesel/FAME and vegetable oil in diesel fuel across a range of 0-100 Vol% in full compliance with ASTM D7806 and EN14078.
The AFR Automatic Fuel Recognition Module allows the measurement of unknown samples whether it is gasoline, diesel, jet fuel and starts automatically the correct analysis. For measuring large numbers of samples ERASPEC can be equipped with a 10-position autosampler. With the built-in-U-tube density meter ERASPEC measures according to ASTM D7777 and ISO 15212.
The measurement procedure doesn’t need any consumables. In not more than 60 seconds the measurement is completed, results are calculated and stored in the internal database. ERASPEC can print the results automatically and transfer them to a LIMS. Exporting the data to Excel is as simple as connecting a USB drive and hitting the export button.
ERASPEC can easily calculate complex properties such as RON, MON, distillation points of the analysed fuels and results are promptly available. For that task ERASPEC comes with a preinstalled database. Depending on customer requirements this database can easily and comfortably be expanded by the user. The added data is immediately ready for the next measurement improving the measurement results. No complex and time-consuming recalculations are necessary.
Another great application of ERASPEC is the on-site identifi cation of gasoline contamination. With the Gasoline Contamination Module, you can identify the most common contaminants of gasoline. The leading-edge multiple-cell design guarantees the lowest possible limits of detection by automatically selecting the proper path length for the measurement. Among others governmental bodies use ERASPEC in mobile laboratories directly at the gas stations to test the fuel quality fi ghting fuel adulteration fraud.
The small footprint of the instrument with its rugged and portable design makes ERASPEC not only the perfect solution for laboratory applications, it is also the fi rst choice for mobile fuel testing combining all advantages of a cutting-edge-technology in one instrument.

ERAFLASH S10TM – The Automated Side of Safe Flash Point Testing
ERAFLASH S10 is eralytics unique 10-position autosampler fl ash point tester. It is the perfect instrument for the automated analysis of up to 10 samples making it the analyser of choice for high-throughput laboratories, handling large amounts of samples every day.
ERAFLASH S10 is fully compliant with ASTM D7094 and ASTM D6450 that offer ASTM proven excellent correlation to Pensky Martens testers (ASTM D93). Both are continuously closed cup methods and therefore intrinsically safe in usage.
With a low sample volume of 1-2 mL and the intrinsically safe continuously closed cup method it is the ideal instrument for unattended fl ash point measurements and guarantees maximum safety. There is no risk at all of a fi re in the lab as any fl ame is automatically extinguished due to a lack of oxygen.
With its unrivaled temperature range of -25 to 420º C (-13 to 788 °F) ERAFLASH S10 can be used for fuel
specifi cation purposes and is also an extremely cost effi cient tool for special applications like the fl avors and fragrances industry all the way to big used oil testing facilities. All industries profi t from the small sample volume and the patented Peltier Boost Technology (PBT)TM cooling rates and therefore for shortest turnaround times on the market.
allowing for unmatched heating and
Another great benefi t is the optional cooling lid for the ERAFLASH S10 – which is a unique solution for many reasons: The pre-cooled lid allows easy and time-saving sample preparation. As a consequence the sample cups are pre-cooled as well what means that no complicate cooling prior sample fi lling is necessary.
The pre-cooled samples need less intensive cooling during sample measuring resulting in shorter turn- around times. As no elevated temperatures are reached and volatile compounds are far less likely to evaporate before measurement is started, more precise and reliable results are reached.
For even more measurement comfort eralytics’ fl ash point testers offer a quality control (QC) mode right on the instrument. To perform effi cient quality control, the user can set individual warning levels to each QC sample. If a sample is measured and the results fall outside these limits a warning is automatically displayed. QC charts are available to easily identify long term drifts and perform statistical evaluations of results.
With the new Software Generation 8 eralytics again took a further step towards an even more user- friendly interface, guiding the user easy and fast through all necessary measurement steps.
Due to the outstanding speed and precision the ERAFLASH S10 is the preferred fl ash point tester for diesel, jet fuel and lube oil testing.
