counterbalance truck is powered by a high-capacity integrated lithium-ion battery, that is able to provide four times the energy of a lead acid battery before replacement. Rapid charging enables the truck to support an intensive three-shift operation without a reduction in performance or productivity levels. The truck is able to charge during regular work breaks, eliminating the need for battery exchange, with a full charge achieved from flat

The high levels of throughput of the ERP70-90VNL in multiple shift applications make it ideal for customers in the paper, wood and metal industries who require a truck capable of handling large loads while performing reliably and consistently. “We have an extensive range
of front-end options that can be fitted to the ERP70-90VNL,” explained Wilkinson. Yale Continuous Stability Enhancement enables the truck

Stora Enso sells and invests in European assets
Stora Enso’s Sachsen Mill in Germany is being sold to Swiss- based family-owned Model Group for €35 million. The mill has yearly capacity
to produce 310,000 tonnes of newsprint speciality paper based on recycled paper. Stora Enso will continue to sell and distribute Sachsen’s paper products under a contract manufacturing agreement for 18 months after the closing. After that, Model will convert the mill to the production of containerboard.
July/August 2021 Kati ter Horst, EVP at
Stora Enso’s Paper division, commented: “We believe Model will be a good owner to ensure long-term development of the Sachsen Mill. We will continue to serve our customers with high quality paper products from Sachsen Mill at least until the end of 2022.”
Daniel Model, chief executive of Model Group, added: “Sachsen Mill is a perfect fit into our value chain within our existing network of operations, and we are looking forward to
developing the site further.” ● Stora Enso is investing a total of €47 million to improve the competitiveness of its Anjala- Ingerois mills, and in modernising pulp production at the Nymölla mill in Sweden. The goal of the investment at the Anjala paper and Ingerois board mills is to reduce the emissions and to ensure flexible use of different fuel mixtures in heat production. The project at Nymölla is the second modernisation step towards making the pulp
production process more competitive and sustainable for the future. The objective of the investment is to increase the annual softwood pulp production capacity from about 220,000 to 245,000 tonnes. ● Stora Enso has completed
co-determination negotiations concerning the closure of pulp and paper production operations at its Kvarnsveden site in Sweden and at its Veitsiluoto site in Finland. Both closures will be completed by the end of the third quarter of 2021.
to travel over uneven surfaces, supporting the smooth transition between indoor and outdoor operation. It also is said to offer superior controllability, resulting in precise handling and a tighter turn radius.
The design of the mast provides the operator with excellent visibility, enhancing confidence during transport and lifting of loads. “The lift and drive systems
are fully independent from one another, so there is no drop in
