Who wants to party? It’s the confetti sprinkling, cocktail consuming, official lockdown breakdown month, as we are declaring that June 21st is The New Independence Day. Time for a little fashion friskiness!


Yes, every day is starting to feel like a holiday as we all reach forward into fresh horizons, we can hug, love, eat and drink – with permission! What better way to celebrate and express our joy than dressing to impress.


When the sun comes out, shades come on and we dare to bare those luscious legs. So let’s hit it at the restaurants, parks and visits to friends with flirtatious frocks and stomping and stunning footwear. It feels like Carnival day so I have picked out some garments with serious blasts of colour; comfy free-flowing frocks, die-hard trainers and wonderful wedges. Yes it’s freedom and it feels flippin’ wonderful.

Moving on casually, with this new arrival at Superdry, a pretty short dress in an airy linen and cotton weave. The small stand-up collar with a V-shaped opening and buttons down the front gives it a sassy edge. In addition is has double-layered yoke with gathered seams at the shoulders and back, all coming together with a drawstring at the waist and long and voluminous sleeves with narrow trims.
