WELCOME
Living and working through the pandemic has brought a whole range of new words and phrases to the fore in their own Covid-19 vocabulary.
Furlough. Lockdown. Zoom meets. Social distancing….I could go on. But the key words that resonate for me throughout these challenging times are:
Adapt – With enforced showroom closures, we need to adapt the way we run our businesses, the way we support our staff and how we balance those work vs life weighing scales.
Integrity - Let down by frustrated suppliers on delivery times that are out of theirs and your control? We need to show integrity and clarity in the way we handle customer relationships to ensure we retain customer loyalty.
Creativity – Wholesalers and retailers need to be creative in adding complementary product lines to our existing offering to ensure we are one step ahead of the consumer, knowing what they want – even before they do.
Communication – Silence is definitely not golden. Keep in touch with existing customers at the reassuring them of your business resilience while updating them on innovative products and accessories.
With this in mind, you may need a notepad and pen to jot down all the sales and marketing advice and ideas packed in your winter edition of Hot Tub & Swim Spa Scene.
First on your TO DO list for 2021 should be the UK Pool & Spa Awards. Living up to their reputation as one of the biggest marketing boosts of the year, we find out, inside this issue of Hot Tub & Swim Spa Scene, which companies struck gold in the 2020 UK Pool & Spa Awards.
Missed out this year? It is never too early to start gathering your entry information and getting your photographs ready. This year’s opening date is May 1st.
Take Care and Keep In Touch!
