2021 OQHA Directors Meeting The following proposed rule changes are
on the Agenda for discussion and voting. Please plan on attending this meeting. Due to COVID- 19 restrictions on meeting sizes, the meeting may be postponed until such time as we are able to accommodate our members at a meeting. Please note that memberships paid in 2020 are valid until December 31, 2021. Membership forms can be downloaded at

Proposed Rule Changes #1 - Current Rule OQHA Meetings
Article VII - Meetings (frequency, special meet- ings and who calls them) C·Meet105·2 The voting procedure at general
OQHA membership meetings will be by straight majority, as indicated by a show of hands, or by secret ballot if duly demanded in accordance with Robert’s Rules of Order. Article VIII -Quorum (number of members re- quired to transact business) C·Q101·1A quorum of any general meeting of the Ontario Quarter Horse Association member- ship shall consist of at least 25 eligible voting members Article XI – Ratification (requirements for adopting this constitution) C·Ratif101·1 The Ontario Quarter Horse Asso- ciation Constitution may only be amended at a general OQHA meeting of the membership by
the affirmative vote of two-thirds of the mem- bers present.
