Christians and Churches in Bovey Tracey

Dear Friends, The Church is very much alive, well and

active in your community! Between us we offer a wide variety of worshipping styles in very different buildings, so that there will be something for you, whether your preference is for guitars and drums or a traditional organ; for the ancient beauty of a parish church or the simplicity of a school hall; for worship that is formal or informal... within all our churches you will find warmth, friendship and support.

Our aim is for our different styles and approaches to complement each other and so, although the churches are varied, we work together closely. Between us, we offer a range of regular groups and activities for all ages, from babes and toddlers through to fellowship and care for the elderly – too many to list here, but something for everyone.

Being a part of our community, contributing to

and working for its wellbeing, is also an important expression of our Christian faith, and so you will find many of our church members actively involved in the wider life of Bovey Tracey and Heathfield, and our church halls available for community use. We also have collection points for donations to HITS, our local Foodbank covering Teignbridge, and between us as churches we support a large range of local and global causes and charities.

So it doesn’t matter whether you are new to

our area or have been here for ages, whether you’ve had any contact with or experience of church before, or whether you have a firm faith, are searching for some meaning or are simply curious – you are very welcome to explore the churches and to find out more. Just ask at any of the churches about what’s going on across them all, or look out for publicity of particular events and activities.
