‘The small museum with a big heart’
YOU will receive a warm welcome to this restored railway station which is a mine of information about all aspects of the history of Bovey Tracey. With artefacts and displays about
the town's contribution to world war, the pottery industry, the granite tramway, local mining, agriculture and railways, there is something to
interest everyone. Senior visitors will be able to rekindle memories of past times and children will find their own activity area to help them enjoy the museum. The remains of an internationally significant 18th century pottery kiln and a restored GWR brake van can also be found on site.
