International Conference & Exhibition is set to come to the four country region at Lake of Constance, specifically to the city of Bregenz (Austria). The event shall be held at Kongresskultur by the lake. The theme selected for the conference is “Driving Digital Transformation into Investment Casting”. Investment Casting always at the edge of technology is facing the revolution which the digital transformation is bringing to the sector. The impact, opportunities and the


solutions that Digital Transformation brings shall be reviewed in depth. These shall be considered from the different perspectives of the manufacturing cycle, including the technical and managerial processes together with customer and supplier relationships . The EICF reserves the right to modify


the Conference date to a later date within 2021 should the evolution of COVID-19 crisis advises so.

TO PRESENT A PAPER Authors are invited to submit abstracts


of papers for presentation in the Technical Sessions of the Conference based on the event theme “DRIVING


DIGITAL


TRANSFORMATION INTO INVESTMENT CASTING”. These should be of original and unpublished work. Commercialism in presentations, will not be permitted. Papers shall be allocated to the session by


the TCC (Technical Conference Committee). It is planned that technical sessions will each contain three or four presentations, with 20/25 minutes scheduled for each paper, plus 10/5 minutes for questions & discussion.


When assessing submitted papers, the TCC will consider: i.


the originality and novelty of the subject


ii. process or product improvement iii. scientific outcome of R&D iv. progress in manufacturing improvements v. comparisons with competitive processes and cast products


vi. the standard of the paper and its consistency with the conference theme


Presentations shall be submitted in PowerPoint format (*.pptx).
