SPEAKERRoundup Virtual is a Reality

P

resentations from some of the industry’s prominent leaders in investment casting will be featured at the Investment Casting Institute’s Virtual Technical Conference & 3D Exposition, Oct 13-23rd.

Technical paper topics cover an array of subjects important

to the industry. Keeping in line with this year’s theme, “Virtual is a Reality,” there are a number of papers this year that address simulations of the investment casting process. Other papers address topics ranging from printed patterns and shells through casting methodology and the benefits of HIP. We will also learn how the FEF and ICI Member Universities are preparing future technologists to support the industry, learn about the new Process Control Standards Program rollout and meet ICI’s newest collaborative partner, the Clean Energy Smart Manufacturing Innovation Institute (CESMII). In this year’s “How it’s Made” presentation, Geo 40 will share a new method of manufacturing colloidal silica, and because so many of our readers have asked for it, there will be a special piece addressing the state of today’s markets from the North American, European and Japanese perspectives.

As this year’s event is virtual, and is available On-Demand

24/7, delegates have the freedom to visit all of our exhibitors’ booths and view all papers without having to leave the comfort of your home or office. This year’s exhibits are just as diversified as the technical program, and we look forward to learning what’s new in the world of products and industry services.

The Institute wishes to thank this year’s speakers for their

contributions. Their biographies are listed on the following pages. Speakers are listed in random order.
