What’s On Events for the diary


till 1 September Kingsbridge and District Camera Club Annual Exhibition This year’s event is now online with club members displaying images in individual galleries, showing local scenes, natural history and pictorial images in both colour and monochrome. 22 – 30 August Walking Festival Dartmoor There’s no doubt that outdoors is the place to be at the moment and this is one festival that is going ahead in 2020. With over 40 different guided walks planned over the week it’s time to enjoy the rivers, forests and moors and hear about the history, myths and legends surrounding the area. Booking Essential. 11 – 20 September Heritage Open Days This is England’s largest festival of history and culture which is an opportunity to explore places not normally open to the public and often for free. It is all about celebrating community and local stories. This year there is the added bonus of online events which will give you the chance to virtually visit places further afield.
