Jo Quigley & Dylan Lloyd – ‘Sightseeing, Daydreaming’ A joint show launches at Dart Gallery on Saturday 15th August


The next show at Dart Gallery is all about contrasts. Jo Quigley’s precisely painted, bright London scenes will hang alongside Dylan Lloyd’s ingenious paintings of gardens in bloom. Jo’s paintings capture people at leisure in famous locations; she quietly observes from a distance resulting in work that is natural and unstaged. Dylan borrows from photography by exaggerating depth of field and using pixilated elements, producing unique, compelling paintings of lush garden borders. Each artist captures the world at leisure in strikingly different settings familiar to us all. Which do you prefer, a stroll along the South Bank enjoying London as a tourist or relaxing in a verdant garden full of flowers? There are 28 new paintings in total. All of the work is available online now and in the gallery from 15th August.
