Record launches for Trafalgar Drystack

Since the lockdown was eased on 13 May, Trafalgar Drystack has achieved a record number of boat launches as private boaters have flocked back to the water. With an average 50 launches a day, since outdoor activities were resumed, Drystack’s expert team handled 100 boat launch requests and retrievals on Monday, 25 May, which was one of the hottest Spring Bank Holidays in England for many years.

The team at LeeSan is still working hard to satisfy the demand for toilets and sanitation products during what is called the ‘new normal’, whilst operating a socially-distanced, shift system. The latest orders are packed and ready to go in the warehouse,

Trafalgar Drystack uses three huge Wiggins forklifts to launch customers’ boats in an almost entirely mechanised process, lifting them from the vast, indoor boat racks and lowering them safely into the water.

Additional cleansing measures are in place when the boats need fuelling and after tying them up, ready for their owners to arrive.

People still need loos!

and these include: toilet and waste tank systems for canal boat builders; specialist waste transfer systems for floating homes under construction in the South of England; and EcoFlush toilets to install in portable welfare units for on-site applications.
