For years I have seen


Amanda Law and she put me on my first cutting horse. There is nothing else quite like it, and is truly the biggest thrill you could have on a horse. It is a very different feeling to have a horse think for its self and have such in- stinct in front of a cow. The 2 minutes and 30 seconds of adrenaline rush is worth the hours of preparation to go show. Cutters make a good


run look easy but like any- thing else there is so much in- volved and always something to learn. Not only did I learn about the high-spirited nature of cutting horses, but also having to learn what cattle may or may not do is a whole other story. The Ontario Cut- ting Horse Association (OCHA) has been a great club to be a part of and is always willing to help anyone inter-
