As an experienced music presenter, she's interviewed everyone from 50 Cent to Justin Bieber and spent her twenties cavorting around the world for Ministry of Sound and Virgin Music. Open about her mistakes, she admits to crossing the line with regards to sex work... “Choose a job you love and you'll never have to work a day in your life!"... It’s fair to say her shows definitely aren't for the faint-hearted, but for those who take life lightheartedly! Undeniably humorous and honest, she chatted to me about her tour, her colourful life and how getting sober was one of the hardest things she's ever had to do.

Interview by Katie McPhilimey

Eleanor, Walk of Shame sold out dates in over 10 countries and won awards, do you think you can emulate that success with You Might Recognise Me From Tinder? has turned out?

LIVE24-SEVEN.COM

You've led a colourful life and talk openly about your battle with alcohol addiction and also 'crossing the line' with sex work. Whilst it forms part of your comedy, is there regret at what you put yourself through? Nah, not really. Nobody interesting has had a perfect life. If you are living life to the extreme, you need to place yourself in extreme situations to understand what your boundaries are in life, otherwise you move through life in a safe space, scared to overstep the mark. Nobody cares what I have done, they'll laugh about it in the show, but that's it. Maybe if I'm owning it and laughing about it, then they can do that for themselves.

LIVE 24-SEVEN MY BIGGEST ISSUE IS WITH CHATTERERS. SOMETIMES,

ESPECIALLY DURING EDINBURGH FRINGE, PEOPLE WILL BLATANTLY HAVE A CHAT ABOUT WHAT I’M TALKING ABOUT ON THE FRONT ROW AS I'M DOING THE SHOW. One hundred percent, this show is way better, bolder and filthier!

Your shows are not for the prudish, or faint-hearted, but for those that want to laugh from the belly – or somewhere else appropriate for the duration of the show. Tell us what topics you'll be covering…pre-warn people :). This show is about sex and love addiction, so apps, intimacy and shagging. I think anyone that's tried modern dating or even has a smart phone can attest to the hours wasted on it. You don't need an alcohol problem to understand that.

Do you know I feel like I'm missing out as I've been in a relationship for years and skipped the whole Tinder thing! Or have I been spared? You've totally been spared, I think if anyone is thinking of leaving their partner of a considerable length of time, you should reconsider. You're not equipped to deal with single life; it's a jungle out here!
