BUSINESS REPORT

BUSINESS REPORT

Milton Keynes-based creative and digital industry recruitment specialist Concept Personnel is blazing a trail in the region, thanks to the launch of a cloud- based video interviewing service aimed at slashing the speed of hire time for employers and making it easier for candidates to take part in interviews. Concept has a six-strong team

working from three bases servicing South East England, the North East, and Scotland, and the launch comes on the back of statistics showing UK employers are playing catch up with the US, where 60% of employers, including big players such as Apple and Google, now include video in their recruitment process. “Finding the best staff is not

just about assessing the candidate’s skill set and experience, we are also looking for

people with the right culture fit for each team,” said Concept’s managing director Jo Carter. “Employers look to us to help

them solve different pain points in the recruitment process, and video interviewing speeds up the shortlisting process and reduces the time and effort they need to invest, as well as giving them a good feel for the candidate’s personality and fit early in the process. It also means we can help our candidates really shine, through a very engaging way to present themselves to prospective employers. It will never replace traditional interviews, and nor would we want it to, but adding it into the mix makes the whole recruitment process more efficient and effective for both employers and candidates.”

speed of innovation in technology and the strict budgets and responsibilities to maximise return on investment, ACS believes it is in a unique position to help assist the public sector in its digital transformation,” said Jon Thorpe, managing director.

CCS supports the public sector

always supported the local community by serving the public sector to the best of its ability. For the last 25 years, ACS has championed best-in-class technology to evolve design and operation of workplaces, as well as safeguarding a business’ online presence.
