BUSINESS REPORT HOLLY IS A REAL INSPIRATION


A car and van leasing company is celebrating after a member of its customer care team reached the finals of a nationwide inspiration award scheme. Holly Palmer, of Silverstone Fleet Management, was


one of only three people in the UK to reach the final stage of the Nige O’Shea Inspiration Award, eventually coming runner up to Jade Griffiths from Low Cost Vans and receiving a trophy and £250 in Virgin Experience Day vouchers. Holly was recognised for her growth and attitude.


She started at Silverstone Fleet Management as a trainee sales support executive in 2018, straight from school. In her first 12 months, she transitioned from the classroom to a fast-paced office environment, growing massively in confidence and quickly becoming a respected team member. She now deals with audits for our trade body - the British Vehicle Rental and Leasing Association (BVRLA) – as well as sales support and, most importantly, customer care, booking customer deliveries and liaising with all funding partners. “We’ve received numerous, glowing reviews about


her hard work and it’s great that she’s received national recognition.” Holly added: “I couldn’t believe it when I found out
