‘SUPERB, DEDICATED
STATE-OF-THE- ART TRAINING FACILITIES’
Horwood House Hotel, situated just two miles off the A421 in Little Horwood, is arguably one of the best-kept secrets in Milton Keynes. Set in 25 acres of manicured land, with a
Manor House dating back to 1911, this hidden jewel in MK’s crown came under new ownership in the autumn of 2019. Previously owned by the De Vere hotel group, Horwood House is now under private ownership, with plans for a considerable refurbishment programme scheduled for later this year, the whole team is looking forward to the exciting changes and times ahead.
In the past, the venue has best been known
for weddings and conferences and, with a suite of leisure facilities on site, it’s not hard to see why. With 185 bedrooms, a pool, small gym and steam room, outdoor tennis courts and a croquet lawn, as well as a secret garden and a beautiful backdrop, it’s been the venue for many magical moments. However, it is the superb, dedicated state-of-
the-art training facilities on site that will be undergoing expansion, to better serve the increasing numbers of business guests. The on- site learning academy is self-contained – with
its own office, IT training room reception and main training room, with amazing views and all rooms with Wi-Fi, the learning academy is modern with interactive whiteboards and wall- mounted TVs. Horwood House is opening its doors in
June to those who have a requirement for corporate bookings. A great opportunity to look around this impressive venue, members should contact Carol Barford directly for more information.
