“Tere are good, sound ideas... and then there are ideas that sound good!” – A known maxim
We supply Bibles in many languages.
Recently, I received an enlightening letter from the missions’ director of a church located in an eastern state of the U.S. who was very interested in exploring the mission and missionary programs of World Missionary Evangelism, Inc. (WME). In the past, the church had sent missionaries to several countries for the purpose of being trained and to learn the necessary language and culture. But this particular approach was costly and not always effective.
Te missions’ director observed that WME’s program of Native Evangelism seemed to be a better way to reach the lost by raising up individuals from among their own people. Te letter included an invitation to attend their “Mission Sunday” and share with them about the native evangelists — not to preach a sermon.
