How You Can Get Involved
homes that lacked staff and funding. And just like he had with children, he grew to be more than just a visitor — He became a part of their families.
In his continuing mission to reach those Christ called the least of these, Ghiorghi shared the Gospel in gypsy communities; searched for ways to provide poor children with medical care, operations and education; and expanded work beyond the Romanian borders into Moldova. In villages, churches, orphanages and nursing homes, Ghiorghi has become the face of Jesus to thousands.
AND THEN TRAGEDY STRUCK!
RETURNING FROM A MISSION IN MOLDOVA, GHIORGHI’S CAR WAS HIT HEAD-ON BY A TRUCK. THE ACCIDENT WAS SO HORRIFIC, MANY QUESTIONED IF GHIORGHI WOULD LIVE. EVEN WHILE DEALING WITH IMMENSE PAIN, MASSIVE INJURIES, A SERIES OF OPERATIONS AND MONTHS OF TREATMENT, GHIORGHI CONTINUED TO PROCLAIM THE
WORDS OF THE OLD HYMN, “HE LIVES, CHRIST JESUS LIVES TODAY!” THUS, INSPIRING EVERYONE WHO CAME INTO HIS ROOM!
Though some days are more painful than others, Ghiorghi Cazacu is back on his feet and at work in his selfless mission of reaching the lost and forgotten. Needless to say, we at WME are proud to be his partner!
