WHAT’S NEW PEERLESS INDUSTRIAL GROUP, INC. INTRODUCES MODEL FPSL FOUR POINT SACK LIFTER BEAMS Peerless Industrial Group, Inc. introduces their FPSL, Four Point Sack Lifter Beam
designed to lift bulk container sacks. The FPSL is available in 1 and 2 Metric Ton capacities with outside spreads of 36 and 48 inches.
The FPSL Four Point Sack Lifter Beam features an X-Style design that provides a natural
fit over the top of the bulk container sack and allows for a straight-line connection to lifting slings. Additional features include: a Standard Sling Keeper design to improve sling containment during the lift, a machined radius cut into the top inside edge of the bail to ensure a better connection between the saddle of the hook and the upper radius of the bail, smooth edge cross-beams to reduce wear on lifting straps, and can be ordered in Stainless Steel and Low Headroom designs.
WHAT’S NEW HARRINGTON HOISTS INTRODUCES THEIR NEW TCL SERIES LUBE FREE AIR HOISTS
Harrington Hoists, Inc. has recently introduced their new TCL Series lube free air hoists. These hoists operate without air supply lubrication, which leaves the surrounding environment free of oil mist from the air exhaust, and are recommended for the food, chemical or pharmaceutical industries.
Harrington’s TCL Series hoists are available in ¼, ½ and
1 Ton capacities with either cord or pendant controls. They have an unlimited duty cycle for continuous operation and extremely fast lifting for applications where speed is critical. Standard features include, a spring-loaded multi-vane
motor design for fine feathering control, adjustable lifting and lowering speeds and an external speed adjustment screw that does not require tools to set specific speeds. The TCL lube free air hoists are extremely compact and are equipped with a heavy-duty disc motor brake system for reliable load support. WHAT’S NEW 7MINE® - DEEP SHAFT MINING HIGH-PERFORMANCE HOIST ROPE FROM TEUFELBERGER-REDAELLI
Teufelberger-Redaelli has announced that it has very successfully tested its new High-Performance Hoist Rope for drum winders over the last 6 years. The 7Mine® was tested on several multi-layer drum winders in South Africa and Canada. In all cases, the new 7Mine® hoist rope was able to significantly outperform the previously used triangular strand ropes in terms of rope service life.
Furthermore, the rope showed a lot less torque and an improved rope stretch character- istic compared to triangular strand ropes. So far, the deepest shaft equipped with a 7Mine® was in South Africa with a depth of around 2300 m. The two ropes supplied were 54 mm in diameter and had a length of 2700 m each.
Teufelberger-Redaelli developed this new high-performance rope to replace triangular strand ropes without any downsides in terms of rope weight and breaking strength. The rope will help mines to improve the productivity of their existing systems by using a modern state-of-the art high-performance hoist rope. Based on the extremely positive field tests, Teufelberger-Redaelli is convinced that it has now a high-performance rope in its mining portfolio which can be perfectly used in the deepest mines on earth. y
