As an ISO- 9001:2015 Certified organization quality is a very big deal at Suncor Stainless. Being ISO certified since 2005 Suncor Stainless places emphasis on continuous improvement of products and services to best address customer requirements. Te quality department will also be expanded to include new equipment including a 200-foot test bed, additional test equipment, and environmental simulators utilizing advanced salt fog technology. Tis keen focus on quality has allowed Suncor to become MIL-DTL-781 certified to supply Mil Spec swage products for aircraft and military use. Over the past 4 years Suncor’s entire shipping facility has become paperless, using handheld scanning guns for picking, packing, and shipping. Pallets, bins, work orders, and in and outbound shipments are all facilitated using RF (radio frequency) guns and barcoding integrated with the Suncor ERP system making updates and coordinating activities in real time. Employing over 100 people throughout two modern US facilities in Plymouth, MA, and Las Vegas, NV, Suncor’s executive team incorporates over 140 years of combined industry experience. Pushing ahead, Suncor is currently underway on a sizable expansion to its Plymouth location—to the tune of 50,000 square feet.

Serving as the corporate office as well as an assembly, chain manufacturing, machine parts production plant, and machine shop, the Plymouth facility currently covers 70,000 square feet across 18 acres, but with the new expansion will be 120,000 square feet. Te expansion will eventually include several new machines to expand existing US manufacturing operations and a 20,000-square-foot mezzanine that will house expanded assembly and retail packaging operations.
