13. Continue on until you reach the end of the track where it brings you out onto the lane running between Etchilhampton and Coate.


14. Turn left and follow the road until you reach the village.


15. Take the first turning on your left called Townsend.


16. As you pass the New Inn pub you will see your next byway marked ahead of you.


17. This byway has been hardcored and gently rises up away from you. After a while you leave the trees behind you and continue on.

18. Pass by a barn on your right and continue on.


19. You will have returned to the crossroads in point 7, but this time approaching from the opposite direction.


20. Turn right and follow the byway on ahead with open fields to either side of you.


21.Continue until you reach a hedge on your left and opposite is a footpath gateway. Here, turn left.


22. Keeping the hedge to your left, follow the footpath ahead of you, along the field edge.
