1. Take the A361 as if going to Marlborough and just before the old barracks at the traffic lights, turn on to Windsor Drive, turn left into Coate Lane and after a short

Location and Parking: Limited parking at the start of the byway, take care not to obstruct farm vehicles.


Terrain:


A mix of tracks and grassland, in places muddy. Some


road walking, at the time of walking no gates or stiles.

2. The track passes between hedges and starts to gently climb.


3. Pass a byway sign on your right and continue on ahead, passing some aerials on your right.


4. The track starts to descend, passing the allotments. Continue on until you emerge by Nursteed Primary School.


5. Bear left following the byway sign.


6. Continue on passing some properties on your right. The byway has been hardcored and the
