walking is quite easy, after a while you start to gently climb.

7. Follow on and you will reach a crossroads of byways with a sign on your left.

8. Turn right and follow the track on. You have quickly left the town behind and there are wonderful views away to your left of the edge of the Pewsey Vale and

ahead towards Etchilhampton Hill. You will gradually start to rise up the hill.

9. Continue on until you reach a bridleway sign on your left. Turn left passing to the side of double metal gates.

10. The bridleway climbs up the side of the field with a post and wire fence on your the left.

11. It is worth stopping and enjoying the panoramic 360 degree views. Here, a trig point marks the height of Etchilhampton Hill which is 190m.

12. Follow the track as it runs along the top of the hill with the wood you were looking at earlier now to your left.
