unday 27th October saw a very welcome return for the Treehouse Sporting Colours Eventer Challenge at Summerhouse Equestrian. An annual series for grassroots riders offering the chance to try


something different; the series brings in technical elements of show jumping and eventing style fences, combining coloured and rustic fences with an optimum time and start box in between! On the first day of the 19/20 series, the course was set by BS Course Designer, Harry Vallender and saw five classes run across the day from 70cm through to 1.10m, offering a number of challenges for horse and rider. With almost one-hundred starters, it was the top ten placings in each class that were awarded league points for the annual Treehouse Sporting Colours league table. The league runs from October 19th until April 20th accumulating for the Championship Final day with prizes courtesy of Treehouse Sporting Colours.
