he third series of the Marina Industry Awards, which recognise the essential role played


by the companies that supply infrastructure and equipment for marinas, were presented to the winners and runners-up in the Marina Yard Pavilion at METSTRADE 2019 by David Young, Editor of Marina Industry, and have been forwarded to those recipients unable to attend the show. These Awards encompass five distinct categories each with two complementary products. Both the winner and runner-up in each category are awarded a trophy selected from either or both of the two products in each category and – given its growing importance to the marine leisure industry – particular attention was paid to products that are

PEDESTALS/PUMP-OUT SYSTEMS First prize: Ruban Bleu ((France) for pedestals for electric boats* Runner-up: Depagne (France) for water supply pedestal to fight fires


BOAT MOVING/ DRY STORAGE First prize: Wiggins Lift Co Inc (USA) for Zero-emission forklift* Runner-up: Roodberg (The Netherlands) for boat handling trailer


BOATYARD EQUIPMENT/WORKBOATS First prize: Naval Tecno Sud Srl (Italy) for mobile shed for boat maintenance* Runner-up: Brownell Boat Stands (USA) for mobile rack for stern drives *Environmentally-friendly products.
