Why do you take part in sport? Fun, enjoyment, entertaining, good exercise, health, makes me happy, helps me relax.
What do you enjoy about playing sport/
being active? Playing with friends, keeps you fit and healthy, the challenge, meeting people, being part of a team, the thrill, feel good afterwards, feel confident.
What are the benefits? Healthy body and mind, burns calories, makes the school proud, meeting new people, get fit, lose weight, learning, outside more, fitter, stronger, healthier, take your mind off things learning to work together.
Do you think it helps in other aspects of your
life? In what way? Live longer, work as a team, meet new people, makes me happy, learn things, feel brave, gives you mental strength, social skills, something to look forward to, resilience, I couldn’t live without it, mentally and physically.
What does it teach you? To be patient, to try new things, to persevere, games are fun, teamwork, how to win and lose, never give up even if you’re not very good, how to keep healthy, competitiveness, always do your best, sportsmanship, discipline, you get out what you put in, dedication, courage, commitment.
