Linda Dyson

Anyone who has ever braced themselves for a family get together will enjoy this month’s Cirencester Scene short story ‘Happy Families’ by Linda Dyson.

Linda trained as a teacher but spent most of her adult life abroad until 2001 when she returned to UK to marry her husband, Maurice. Writing has been part of her life since childhood and she enjoys exploring the quirky side of human existence.

She joined Cirencester-based Somewhere Else Writers in an attempt to get back into writing a novel started several years ago. Two of her short stories have been published in an anthology organised by the ‘Aspiring Writers’ group on ‘Linked In’ and a number of poems included in other collections. Her play ‘The Piano’ was broadcast on Corinium Radio earlier this year, and works for children have been performed at local schools.

Read Linda’s story online at www.cirenscene.com and look at the ‘Latest Posts’ section.
