In the village of Nadikotkur, Christians are operating a Tailoring Center to rescue women on the road to slavery. While training, these women hear the Gospel, and many accept Jesus. For 6 months, these small groups of women are financially supported while they learn sewing at the Center. After completing their training, each graduate is provided a free sewing machine that sponsors have donated.
Here is a report from the Center:
The staff and students thank you for praying and sponsoring these poor women to get trained with tailoring skills. Your gifts provide training and sewing machines. It is wonderful to see and hear how the Center is preparing them for a bright future. All of them are thankful to WME for sponsoring sewing machines. We have a local pastor who teaches Bible to them daily and all of them are part of his church now.
A gift toward vocational training can give individuals a second chance in life and help lift them out of poverty. And Native Missionaries use the opportunity
