and stylish.
What’s a typical day for you? A typical day in the life of me means I have to work three jobs to fund the number of shows I do. I start at 7.30am and sometimes don’t finish until gone 7pm. I begin with mucking out all the stables and then spend from 11am until 5pm riding most days. I do a variety with the horses, hacking, schooling and jump work. They all have a strict plan each week which is followed to allow them to stay fit and perform to the best of their ability. At around 5pm I finish all the yards off before heading home.
For any readers wanting to start out in show jumping, what would be your top tips for getting started? Make sure that you have the correct training and people around you. You need help from people who know the basics to enable you to perfect your skills.
Who inspires you? Edwina Topps Alexanders and Scott Brash. Both have a beautiful way of riding at top level and I oſten find myself watching train- ing videos of them in order to follow in their footsteps. They have unique styles of riding and provide virtually faultless rounds each time. They have such love and passion for the sport and have worked hard to make it to the top and deserve every success.
Do you have any other pets? I have two dogs. A older Jack Russel called Patch and a recent puppy called Slinky. She is a miniature Sausage Dog, that I begged for for years! Slinky comes to all the
shows with us and is my little shadow following me everywhere - when she’s not chasing birds

How do you relax away from horses? I don’t go away from them! I can’t relax when I’m not with them so I spend most of my time at the stables, and oſten worry if their haynets are big enough or if their beds are fluffy enough! It’s a full time commitment.
What’s the summer looking like for you? Summer is slowly drawing to a close aſter a phenomenal season. The horses have just two or three shows leſt before training all winter for Vilamoura. The novices will start to gain experience on the indoor winter circuit and my youngster will be broken in and ridden away.
I’m very excited of what’s to come in future.
