FROM THE EDITOR

Well, here we are with the September/October issue. In this issue we have show reports from Lapworth and Kimpton, a showcase from ROR and The Farmers’ Bloodhounds meet. Ginny Howe has been

very busy this summer and is heading off to both Burghley & Blenheim. We wish her luck at these events and look forward to reading all about them in her next Blog. Joe Stockdale, has also been busy on the showjumping circuit. Read all about his very exciting new ride on page 22. This issue also features veterinary articles from Avonvale and Towcester Equine; Tying Up and Nosebleeds. Charley Snowdon went off to sunny Spain on a press trip, to watch horses racing on the beach. Check out her adventure on page 52 Charley also interviews show- jumper Alfie Bradstock in this issue. As a child, Alfie was a CHN sponsored rider. It is lovely to read about his success. Once again we have some lovely

prizes for you to win so please fill-in the form on page 76. Special thanks to CHN’s former

editor, Barbara Gadd, who very kindly helped us get this one off to press. I sign off now, to go and work on the Christmas issue!

Have fun this autumn. See you in November
