despite our European connections through turnkey parent company, CIM, worries are permeating to ground level about UK suppliers, like us, being able to fulfil crucial orders. Having the reassurance of a local supply chain has never been more welcome or played such a prominent role. I can say with confidence that it will be business as usual whatever happens next in the ongoing Brexit saga. It is my assertion that all UK manufacturers should buy


local, wherever possible. In our experience, it really does lead to lower build costs and better cash flow, by reducing the need to stockpile vital components. We have all read recent tales in the media about demand for warehousing being at an all-time high, as businesses attempt to secure their future. There are many talented fabricators, machinists and


others innovators here on our doorstep who are helping companies, like Mechan, redefine what it means to be Made in Sheffield in 2019. With their help, we are continuing to pass savings onto customers, competing successfully on a global scale and flying the flag for British build quality.
